Looking Back at 2017 Season


Nov. 2 - A great season comes to an end in the second round of CIF with a loss to Redondo Union.

October 31 - It is a Halloween treat for the Mustangs as they take out Dana Hills in 5 in the first round of CIF.

Oct. 18 - Varsity has a battle with Aliso before going down in 5.  JV wins the league title with a win over Aliso. Freshman A win a nail biter 25-23, 32-30

Oct. 16 - Mustangs beat Tesoro at their place in a hard fought 4 set match.  JV with a big win to put them on the verge of a league title.

Oct. 12 - Varsity goes down in a hard fought match vs. San Juan Hills 1-3.  JV continues their winning ways in league. Freshman A wins a thriller 25-23, 30-28.

Oct. 10 - Straight set victory on the road at San Clemente for the varsity and thrilling 2-1 (15-13 in the 3rd) victory for the JV.

Oct. 4 - Mustangs roll to a second straight 3-0 victory this season over cross town rival El Toro

Oct. 3 - THHS comes back from 0-2 to force a fifth set tie break.  Mustangs came up just short in an amazing match that ended 23-25 in set 5.

Sept. 28 - THHS cruises to victory in straight sets at home against Tesoro.

Sept. 26 - Mustangs go down 0-3 at San Juan Hills. JV, Freshman A, and Freshman B all went home victorious in straight sets!

Sept. 21 - Mustangs handle the Dana Hills Dolphins 3-1 in a home non-league match.

Sept. 19 - The Mustangs drop the first set to San Clemente and then storm back to finish them off 3-1.

Sept. 14 - Mustangs crush cross-town rival El Toro in straight sets in front of an amazing crowd. JV and Freshman A also record victories.

Sept. 12 - Mustangs lose 1-3 in match v. SVCHS

Sept. 8-9 - SLO Town Tournament - San Luis Obispo

Mustangs come home with a 3rd Place finish in the 32 team tournament.  Mustangs finished with a strong 6-2 record.  Setter Kelly Negron named to the All-Tournament Team.

Sept. 5 - Trabuco losses 3-set match at Huntington Beach.

Aug. 31 - Trabuco took a tough 3-set loss on the road vs. Corona del Mar.

Aug. 29 - Trabuco Hills opens the season with a five set victory over defending state champion Edison High School.

Mustangs made $370 to donate to Breast Cancer Angels!
