Looking Back at 2016 Season

Dec 2016: Congratulations to seniors Shawnee de Oliveira and Jillian Wheaton on  receiving the South Coast All League Girls Volleyball - First Team Award by the Coast View Athletic Association. Congratulations to junior Paige Krenik for South Coast League All League Girls Volleyball Team - Second Team. 
Nov 1: Trabuco Hills Mustangs ended their Fall 2016 season with a loss in CIF-SS playoffs to Edison Chargers, the team who eventually moved on to win the 2016 CIF State Girls Volleyball Championships.

Oct 24: Trabuco Hills defeats Aliso Niguel Wolverines! 
After losing the first 2 games, Varsity rallied back to win the next 3 games for a final score of 3-2.  It was a exciting night with all teams defeating Aliso Niguel,
JV (2-1), Freshmen A (2-1), Freshmen B (2-0) and a great way to end league play.

MUSTANG SENIORS
Oct 19: Trabuco Hills Mustangs celebrated another win against the Tesoro Titans on Senior Night with a match score of 3-2 games.
 JV, Frosh A and Frosh B also beat Tesoro! Nice Sweep!
 We appreciate all the support of our fans, led by Kelechi, for cheering the team on from the stands. It pumped up our players in crucial moments. Thank you to all the volunteers for making Senior Night Special to our 4 seniors!

Oct 17: Trabuco Hills Mustangs lost a league match to San Juan Hills Stallions in an away game, suffering a 0-3 score againt nationally top ranked opponent. JV and the Freshmen Teams had a successful nigh beating SJH. Congratulations!

Oct 13: After a slow first game start, Trabuco Hills Mustangs Varsity did it again! They beat last year's South Coast League Champs, the San Clemente Tritons, in a 3-1 final match-up. We snapped their little trident once and for all! 
Game Scores: 15-25,  25-18,  25-18,  25-15
It was a beautiful and successful PINK OUT NIGHT !

Oct 6: Trabuco Hills Mustangs Varsity lost a league match 1-3 against a worthy opponent, Aliso Niguel Wolverines, our co-league winners from last year. Looking forward to playing them again in a couple of weeks!

Oct 4: Trabuco Hills Mustangs Varsity played tough in a league match Tuesday beating the Tesoro Titans 3 -1 and in Tesoro's own fan filled rowdy gym!
Freshman A and B teams also swept their matches beating Tesoro in 2-0 !

Sept 29-30: Trabuco Hills Mustangs Varsity played in the Tesoro tournament playing against Foothill, Beckman, San Clemente, and Mission Viejo. Congratulations go out to our own Shawnee De Oliveira  - the recipient of the All Tournament Libero Award!
Sept 28: Trabuco Hills Mustangs JV battled against San Juan Hills Stallions overtaking them in the 3rd tie-breaking game and beating them 2-1.  
Varsity suffered a loss of 0-3 to another very tough opponent.

Sept 27: It was a battle of the League Champions in San Clemente.  Trabuco Mustangs opened our league play with a 5 game win over last years South Coast League Champions, the San Clemente Tritons 3-2 . Well done Trabuco, well done!

Sept 22: Trabuco Mustangs played a tough match and lost against El Toro 1-3 in a non-league away game. We would welcome an opportunity for a rematch on our home turf!

Sept 20: Trabuco Mustangs defeated the Corona Del Mar Sea Kings 3-2 in another 5 game nail biter. Congratulations for pulling out the win in the exciting match against a tough team! Daily Pilot write-up

a 2 game deficit to over take the Foothill Knights 3 - 2.

SEPT 9-10: Varsity competed in the 2 day  SLO -TOWN San Luis Obisbo Tournament with 44 teams from Northern, Central and Southern California. On day 1 the team went undefeated to stay in the gold bracket. On day 2, the team lost to only one team in a single elimination gold round that sent them to the Gold Bracket Consolation where they won the rest of their matches finishing 9th overall.

AUG 27: Congratulations to the THHS Freshmen "B" Team on taking home a trophy at the Tesoro HS 2016 GIRLS FRESHMEN CHAMPIONSHIPS !!
